Founder and Lead Trainer. Mike is Australia and New Zealand’s only Microsoft Learning Consultant & Google Certified Teacher and Innovator. As an ex-teacher, Mike’s passion and specialty is in helping teachers to use technology better to increase the motivation and engagement of their students. Mike is also highly regarded by businesses of all sizes as someone who can connect with staff and improve efficiency, productivity and motivation.

UTB was founded by Mike Reading whilst he was teaching in a high school. Mike was so frustrated with the type and quality of technology training that was being offered to him as a teacher, (they would show you how a tool worked, but not how to use the tool to improve pedagogy or student outcomes), so he set about upskilling himself and sharing this with others.
The UTB team of facilitators have been hand picked for their amazing content knowledge and applied skills in the classroom, but also for their facilitation style. We live by the motto ‘No more boring training sessions!’
