Partners With Local STEM Distributor iWorld Australia For Territory Rollout

LONDON — May 24th, 2018— Creative computing pioneer Kano Computing has announced further international expansion to Australia and New Zealand thanks to a newly signed partnership with Australian-based STEM distributor iWorld. The partnership marks a new growth milestone for Kano, following the company’s expansion into 4,500 retail stores across North America during 2017. Thanks to iWorld, customers across Australia and New Zealand will be able to experience and purchase the range of DIY Kano kits online, in brick & mortar retailers and in the education space.

“Kano is going to make a massive impact in the ANZ marketplace both in education sectors and mass merchant retailers. We have have been talking to our main customers and the response has been over the top. We have been carefully selecting products to meet the ANZ requirements of true STEM/STEAM products and Kano covers every aspect of that in detail. We will be releasing the full range of kits with some more exciting products yet to be released in 2018. We have been in discussions with Kano for some time and both companies are working together to make ANZ a leading market for the next generation of computing. iWorld Australia is proud to be the ANZ distributor for the full line of Kano products.” states Chad DeClase, Director of iWorld Australia.

Over the last 2 years iWorld Australia’s focus has been to become the leader in STEM/STEAM products in both Australia and New Zealand. The company focuses on distributing the best STEM /STEAM products and are very excited to be working with Kano and their team to bring their creative coding kits to students across Australia and New Zealand.

“There are over 8 billion connected devices in the world, but only 50 million people know how to talk to them. It should be simple and fun for anyone, anywhere to make and play with technology – beyond the sealed screen. Code can be a creative art, and it starts with computers anyone can make,” said Alex Klein, co-founder and CEO of Kano

This partnership includes the range of Kano’s award-winning creative coding kits including the Computer Kit, Pixel Kit and Motion Sensor Kit.

About Kano
Kano is a new kind of computer company, based in London. Its kits and software give all ages the power to create technology, not just consume.
